The art glass workshop was established by artist Edyta Barańska more than 20 years ago. Her unique chandelier, art installation, monument, and fountain designs have been used in the best 5-star hotels, including the Hilton, Sheraton, and Marriott. Particularly worthy of mention is the enormous Wings of Freedom monument honouring President Lech Wałęsa, made from 3.5 tonnes of molten and textured panes of art glass. Many smaller glass items such as hanging and standing lamps, paintings, mirrors, and coffee tables also decorate the interiors of private houses around the world, from New York to Dubai. The numerous design and innovation awards are a testament to the high quality and technological sophistication of the products offered. The Baranska Design studio is prized for its ability to mould the style, colours and textures of art glass to match the tastes of its recipients and various interiors.
Baranska Design is a studio with 20 years of experience, which is a guarantee of quality, reliability, and innovative solutions, as confirmed by the many awards and recommendations it has received. Well equipped with machines, and staffed with experienced specialists, the studio is able to adapt its designs and production processes to various conditions and requirements, both with regard to technological solutions, and a thorough understanding of budgetary constraints. Since 2006, Baranska Design has been conducting research and development work at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia, developing new glass manufacturing methods, and offering technical expertise in exploring unorthodox solutions, and applications of art glass.
Artistic glass, design lamps and glass installations are currently one of the most developing architecture trends, therefore they are appreciated all over the world.
