Coffee tables

Whether it is a flat or a hotel, every interior needs tables – from coffee tables to smaller occasional tables. Glass tables are an obviously popular choice, but everything depends on the type of glass used, and the material of our choosing is artistic glass. This type of material offers a wealth of options – it can blend with the rest of the interior or be its sole contrasting element. Art glass such as Murano, dyed with metal oxides, can do both of these things depending on its texture and colour. When infused with colour in this way, art glass never changes, and remains timeless forever. Such a solution perfectly highlights the artistic nature of a coffee table, enabling it to function akin to a painting on the wall. A different approach is offered by monochrome glass tables, which can feature a delicate texture – a subdued reference to the style of the interior, which also offers a wealth of design opportunities. For more than 2 years, I worked on a collection of products made from sintered glass panes, including coffee and occasional tables, which are both visually-attractive, and offer a lot of utility thanks to the 3D effect achieved. The table tops alone were recognised at the Surface Design Show in London, before becoming, now as part of complete tables, collection of the year 2019 in Milan, chosen by Archiproducts to receive its "Design Selection 2019" and 2020 award. I hope that everyone can find something to their liking among the variety of shapes and colours.
